Qualifications

• 3+ years civil engineering design experience.
• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong team orientation and networking skills.
• Experience with CAD/CE design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Geopak).
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, select and apply engineering techniques to site development projects.
• Develop site designs including analysis, calculations, and layout.
• Execute final design of grading, hydrology, and road/site elements.
• Oversee creation of surface models using Civil3D or similar software.
• Support interdisciplinary design coordination to ensure project elements are accounted for.
• Create preliminary design concepts to support cost estimating.
• Attend project technical meetings and resolve design issues.
• Lead designers in data-driven design decisions and processes.
• Develop permit and third-party strategies from development through approvals.
• Review drawings for conformance with standards.
