Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. seeks a Senior SCM Site Delivery Frame Local Group Leader to coordinate daily activities with buyers and technical leads to meet KPIs by reducing downtime, GDP, and cost across North American supply.

Leads business plan themes, budgets, and supplier relations at the site level. The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's in SCM/Analytics/Management, and capability to mentor and develop buyers while driving continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Management
• Minimum Experience: 8+ years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Support Site Delivery Frame Unit Leaders/buyers in troubleshooting supplier and/or site-specific issues
• In supporting Local Unit Leader/Regional Unit Leader, lead the execution of Business Plan Themes/Strategies, Budget, Key Performance Indicators
• Lead/maintain critical projects, Business Plan Themes, and other initiatives, present/escalate when necessary
• Benchmark with other HDMA Frame Sites to identify and apply cost saving opportunities
• Engage associates w/in specific site or other HDMA Frame sites to develop & implement system enhancements (Commonization, OWBW, etc) and supplier improvement items
• Lead associate development activities (train, advise, mentor) of assigned buyers
