Job summary

Corewell Health Behavioral Health seeks a Resource Site Coordinator for the School-Based Suicide Prevention Program across Southeast Michigan. You will partner with Clinical Program Specialists to educate school personnel and community partners in over 100 districts.

You will handle on-site logistics, prepare materials, manage registrations and surveys, and support presenters. Travel is expected during the academic year while supporting youth mental health initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent coursework in office administration / secretarial science.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in secretarial / clerical and computer skills.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in administrative projects, program management, hospital / physician office, statistical data collection and analysis.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in working in a high volume service industry in business or accounting, cash handling, data systems, managed care, and Medicare product industry.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a health care or medical research environment.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in dealing with the public, preferably in the medical or customer service field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in database development.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting directing the workload of others, specimen collection and client services.

Responsibilities

  • Greets participants and prepares training materials; assists with registration and surveys.
  • Supports presenters; coordinates training space and audiovisual needs.
  • Completes post-training documentation.
  • Travel across Southeast Michigan during the school year to support the program.

Job Summary

Corewell Health Behavioral Health is seeking a Resource Site Coordinator to support our School-Based Suicide Prevention Program throughout Southeast Michigan. In this role, you will partner with a team of Clinical Program Specialists who provide suicide prevention education and training to school personnel and community partners across more than 100 school districts.

Responsibilities

The Site Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring training events run smoothly by providing on-site logistical and administrative support. Responsibilities include greeting participants, preparing training materials, assisting with registration and surveys, supporting presenters, coordinating training space and audiovisual needs, and completing post‑training documentation. This position offers the opportunity to travel throughout Southeast Michigan during the academic school year while contributing to an important mission focused on youth mental health and suicide prevention.

  • Utilizes the appropriate software applications to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of office workload.
  • Greets and communicates in a manner consistent with caring and respect and follows established policies for confidentiality. Answers telephone, takes messages, welcomes visitors and provides / relays information in a manner consistent with hospitality standards.
  • Composes documents and independently formats, types and proofreads correspondence, memos, reports, charts, statistics, meeting minutes, newsletters, etc.
  • Performs/coordinates basic office duties such as sorting / distributing mail, copying, filing, faxing, completing forms, and ordering / maintaining equipment / supplies.
  • Maintains schedule / daily calendar for staff members / rooms / equipment, making independent judgments regarding priorities / rescheduling. Arranges for conference / travel, meetings as needed.
  • Collects, compiles, and prepares data for analysis and develops systems that facilitate tracking of data. Manipulates data to develop unique reports to meet special requests and reviews reports / data to determine accuracy.
  • Directs and maintains accountability for completion of complex, multi‑faceted programs / projects.
