Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking Site Coordinators to liaison between public school districts and the College of Education’s Educator Preparation Office. This part-time role supports fall, spring, and summer semesters with schedules that vary by district and assignment.

Responsibilities include coordinating trainings, hosting orientations, organizing governance meetings, and supporting teacher candidates through field experiences and observations on UNT’s Denton campus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in an appropriate education field.
• Experience supervising teacher candidates in the state of Texas.
• Minimum three years of successful classroom teaching experience in any EC-12 grade.
• Willingness to renew or currently hold a valid TX teaching certificate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Watermark.

Responsibilities

• Attend Ed Prep Trainings (online and in-person).
• Partner with the Field Supervisor to ensure student success.
• Schedule and lead Host Teacher Orientations/Trainings (number varies by district).
• Schedule and lead Governance Meetings (number varies by district).
• Weekly half-day Test Prep on the UNT campus with UNT students (Fall only).
• Informal Observations in Fall and Spring; Residency requirements.
• Schedule and facilitate Quad Meetings (Fall and Spring) for each cadre.
• Biweekly check-ins with the Director of Clinical Experiences for Residency.
