Job summary

Crane Nuclear Site in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Site Controller to lead day‑to‑day financial operations for ~45 associates. You will align financial infrastructure with strategic growth, while guiding staff accountants and ensuring IC processes.

Reporting to VP of Finance, you will own budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, driving standard work and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in GAAP.
• Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance; coordinate external audits.
• Manage ERP system improvements and financial process optimization.
• Coach and develop finance team and drive IC processes.
