Job summary

Jobot seeks a Site Controller in Mansfield, OH to own the financial leadership for the manufacturing site during a pivotal integration and growth period. You will direct all plant-level accounting and support corporate reporting, with a direct impact on operations and margin improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing accounting, ERP experience, and prior supervisory leadership. It offers a path to drive system integrations and cost optimization alongside site leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; master's/CPA/CMA a plus.
5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience, with standard costing.
Hands-on ERP experience; implementation or systems-conversion exposure preferred.
Prior supervisory experience over accounting staff.
Ability to operate in a fast-moving plant environment.

Responsibilities

Own the full month-end close, general ledger, and site financial statements.
Lead the integration of financial systems and processes following the acquisition — ERP, reporting, and close cadence.
Drive standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for the plant.
Build, develop, and lead the site accounting team, with additional headcount planned under this role.
Prepare budgets and forecasts; partner with plant leadership on spend, capex, and margin improvement.
Establish and enforce internal controls; support external audits and corporate reporting requirements.
Translate financial data into action for operations — scrap, labor, overhead absorption, and cost-reduction initiatives.
