• Prior supervisory experience over accounting staff.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full month-end close, general ledger, and site financial statements.
• Lead the integration of financial systems and processes following the acquisition — ERP, reporting, and close cadence.
• Drive standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for the plant.
• Build, develop, and lead the site accounting team, with additional headcount planned under this role.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts; partner with plant leadership on spend, capex, and margin improvement.
• Establish and enforce internal controls; support external audits and corporate reporting requirements.
• Translate financial data into action for operations — scrap, labor, overhead absorption, and cost-reduction initiatives.
