Job summary

Egis is seeking a Resident Project Representative to provide construction administration and field observation services in the Western US for multiple offices. You will help deliver transportation, aviation, rail, and infrastructure projects with emphasis on quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires five years of construction management/inspection experience, familiarity with heavy civil projects, and strong MS Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a construction manager/inspector on transportation/airport projects.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel with strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with heavy civil construction, airport systems and operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specs and codes.
• Coordinate with clients, owners, consultants, contractors, designers and regulatory agencies in the field.
• Measure and record pay quantities and prepare daily reports.
• Review Contractor schedules and input on changes; manage wage rate compliance interactions.
• Coordinate third-party material testing inspections and maintain project records.
• Travel throughout the Western US is required.
