Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC in Charleston, SC is seeking a Concrete Foreman to oversee a concrete crew on site and ensure work complies with installation and safety standards. You will manage field operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost control while keeping progress aligned with the project schedule.

Requirements include a 4-year post secondary education or equivalent, at least 1 year as a foreman and 3 years in concrete, plus a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a concrete crew, rendering hands-on assistance.
• Train crew members in accordance with company safety policies.
• Responsible for completing required paperwork on a daily basis.
• Oversee all work that involves placing concrete, asphalt and sod as needed.
• Responsible for crews erecting barricades, cones and warning signs around work site to protect workers from street traffic.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment.
• Operating shovels, gas tamps, jack hammers, and mini excavator.
• Monitor progress of crew to ensure satisfactory job completion, keeping construction progress in line with overall project schedule and cost estimate.
• Exposed to extreme cold and heat (depending upon the weather)
• Working 8 to 10 hours a day with some weekend work, hours may vary.
• Must be willing to travel at any given time; possibly up to 2 weeks at a time.
