Job summary

Southeast Connections (SEC) is hiring a Concrete Foreman in Charleston, SC to supervise a concrete crew and ensure work complies with safety and installation standards. You will manage field operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, cost control, and adherence to local regulations.

Responsibilities include training crew, completing daily paperwork, operating concrete-related equipment, and keeping progress aligned with the project schedule. Weekend work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year post secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: high school diploma.
• Experience: foreman; concrete experience; equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concrete crew with hands-on assistance.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards on site.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Supervise placement of concrete, asphalt, and sod as needed.
• Set up barricades and signs to protect workers.
• Operate shovels, tamp, jackhammer, and mini excavator.
• Monitor progress to align with schedule and budget.
