Job summary

Comstock is seeking a ParkX Porter in Reston, VA to maintain cleanliness in common areas and assist with event setup and breakdown. You will perform cleaning tasks, follow safety standards, and interact professionally with staff, tenants, and visitors.

Reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can multitask and work evenings or weekends are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include keeping lobbies and restrooms clean, reporting hazards, and supporting maintenance requests as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Flexible to work after hours and weekends, including events.
• Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build relationships and work with diverse groups.
• Self-directed, independent worker with reliability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Keep common areas clean and presentable (sidewalks, lobbies, restrooms, public spaces).
• Perform daily cleaning tasks and janitorial duties as assigned.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleaning standards; report hazards.
• Interact professionally with property staff, tenants, and visitors.
• Conduct end-of-shift documentation and transfer responsibilities to the next shift.
• Monitor inventory and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
