Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent trade qualification.
• Experience supervising civil construction projects and leading field teams in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, field engineering, site administration, and procurement.
• Ability to manage schedules, workforce planning, productivity and resource allocation.
• Experience building collaborative relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of safety leadership, quality management, and regulatory requirements.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with practical, value-driven outcomes.
• Experience supporting sustainability initiatives and operational excellence.
• Advanced knowledge of construction systems, tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience managing civil scopes within energy, chemicals, resources, infrastructure or industrial construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise all on-site civil construction activities safely and efficiently.
• Drive proactive safety culture, ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Oversee field administration, procurement coordination, subcontractor management, and field engineering.
• Act as primary site contact, fostering clear communication with teams, customers, contractors and suppliers.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to personnel and subcontractors while promoting collaboration.
• Monitor progress, evaluate performance, and implement corrective actions to meet commitments.
• Support integration of sustainability-focused solutions into project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, commissioning and project management to optimize workflows.
• Manage workforce planning, productivity, and resource allocation for efficient utilization.
• Ensure activities meet project specs, contractual requirements, and Worley standards.
• Prepare and communicate progress reports, forecasts, and performance updates to leadership.
• Identify and resolve field-related challenges with practical solutions.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive work environment and continuous improvement initiatives.
