Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of site civil engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare deliverables for multiple land development projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Utilize organizational and scheduling skills to track project progress and provide updates.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with teams to obtain permits, approvals, and clearances.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and identify opportunities for future projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Minimum 5 years of site civil engineering experience, preferably in Maryland.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Knowledge of Maryland and Washington, DC regulations and standards.
  • Understanding of construction practices and materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; graduate work preferred.
  • 5-9 years of professional experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening; background and motor vehicle checks may be required.
