Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team in Arlington, VA. This role supports site feasibility studies, field work, reports, calculations, and design documents, partnering with leadership on exciting land development projects.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil Engineering, with a 3.0+ GPA preferred, and familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office. Travel may be required; housing/relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans, specs, schedules and cost estimates.
• Analyze soil, hydrology, topography and geologic data for project feasibility.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and sidewalk estimations.
• Provide field inspection support as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and apply engineering principles.
