Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join our collaborative Nashville team. You will contribute to planning, design, and permitting of civil projects across mixed-use, educational, residential, and infrastructure sectors.

The role offers exposure to diverse land development projects, strong mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth within a technically driven, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification; PE certification preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering and design software.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photos to assess soil, terrain, hydrological data for planning and design.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
