HDR is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Orlando, FL.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design of facilities related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Residential, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal.
• Coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration.
• Responsible for the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in site development and the design of building related site civil (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control).
• Strong operating knowledge of Civil 3D.
• Must be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound civil site designs.
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
• Local candidates are preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
