Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Civil EIT to support site studies, layouts, and project documentation within our employee-owned culture. You will assist with design tasks and collaborate with senior engineers on a range of civil/site projects in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation.
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Civil EIT, we'll count on you to:

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) as required

• 2+ years site civil experience
