Woolpert seeks a CAD Engineering Technician to join our Site Civil Team in Dayton, OH. You will design site layouts, use AutoCAD Civil 3D, and support project management with planning and analysis.

The role requires an associate degree or technical certification (or 4 years related experience), experience with Civil 3D, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Occasional fieldwork and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification or 4 years related experience.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and interpret reports and technical documentation.
• Ability to perform basic geometric calculations and apply to practical situations.

Responsabilités

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Perform roadway pavement evaluations and compile reports.
• Occasional field work, local travel, and overnight travel as needed.
