Job summary

Woolpert seeks a CAD Engineering Technician to join our Site Civil Team. You will design site layouts and grading plans using Autodesk Civil 3D, aligning with client requirements and Woolpert standards.

You will collaborate with project management, perform site due diligence, and compile data and reports. Occasional field work and travel are expected; a valid driver\'s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification required.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean record.
• Interest in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and interpret reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Develop concept and grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with project management to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Conduct roadway pavement evaluations and compile reports.
• Occasional field work, local travel, and overnight stays as needed.
