Cheetah Clean Auto Wash in Owensboro, KY is seeking a Site Captain to lead the wash floor as MOD and to keep equipment running through hands-on preventive maintenance and light repairs. You will guide the team, optimize throughput, and ensure quality on every shift.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and a hands-on approach to maintenance while upholding safety protocols and clear communication with the GM.

Qualifications

• Must be a natural leader who can guide and inspire a team.
• Solid grasp of wash operations, throughput, and quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on PM and light repair experience (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stay active on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead wash technicians during every shift and manage day-to-day site operations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on wash equipment.
• Handle light mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on-site.
• Log PM checks, repairs, and shift performance.
• Enforce safety protocols and SOPs.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for bigger issues.
• Communicate operational needs with GM.

At Cheetah Clean Auto Wash, our mission is simple: deliver a fast, spotless, unforgettable wash — every car, every time. As our Site Captain, you lead the wash floor as Manager on Duty while also keeping equipment running strong through hands-on preventive maintenance and light repair.

What You’ll Do at Cheetah Clean:

• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), leading the team and owning day‑to‑day site operations
• Lead wash technicians during every shift, keeping throughput high and quality on point
• Oversee daily wash operations, ensuring every vehicle meets Cheetah Clean standards
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on wash equipment — pumps, motors, belts, nozzles, brushes, and chemical systems
• Handle light mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on‑site
• Spot equipment issues early and coordinate with DM1 and the maintenance team on anything beyond light repair
• Keep accurate logs of PM checks, repairs, and shift performance
• Coach techs in real time on performance, safety, and customer service
• Enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Communicate proactively with your GM on operational and maintenance needs
