Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Construction Cost Analyst to work with Disaster Case Managers to prepare detailed cost estimates for repairs and rebuilds of disaster survivors' primary residences. You will use Xactimate and industry standards to ensure accurate documentation and compliance, while coordinating with contractors and volunteer groups.

The role requires 5-7 years of cost estimation experience, proficiency in Xactimate and Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel for site visits and data

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of cost estimation experience.
• Proficiency in Xactimate software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate repair and rebuild estimates for disaster-related damages using Xactimate and industry-recognized standards.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and contractors to confirm accuracy of estimates and incorporate comparable pricing.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Prepare estimates in compliance with FEMA, state, and local recovery requirements.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all cost estimates and related documentation.
• Work closely with Disaster Case Managers to integrate estimates into clients’ IRPs.
• Communicate clearly with clients, ensuring they understand cost estimates and available recovery options.
• Conduct site visits to collect data on access, drainage, topography, and service availability.
• Coordinate with contractors and volunteer groups to ensure efficient sequencing of repairs.
