Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a front-line estimator to write estimates using Xactimate for both residential and commercial projects affected by disaster in the Twin Cities area.

You will accurately define the scope of work and complete timely estimates in a high-volume environment, coordinating with internal and external personnel across multiple software platforms. The role requires 3 years of full-charge construction experience, the ability to estimate disaster-impacted structures, and a

Qualifications

• 3 years full-charge residential and commercial construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; clean driving and criminal records.
• Must live within 40 minutes of the Twin Cities Minnesota corporate location.
• Be part of an On-Call team.
• Ability to estimate all types of structures that have experienced disaster using Xactimate.
• Great communication skills with people.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Write estimates using Xactimate for residential and commercial projects.
• Define scope of work and complete accurate estimates in a high-volume environment.
• Produce estimates requiring insurance and third-party approvals while maintaining profit margins.
• Negotiate, settle and finalize estimates with involved parties.
• Manage financial aspects including budgeting, purchasing and collections.
• Produce work orders for sub-contractors and in-house crews and manage crews.
• Process all invoices to be submitted to the accounting office.
• Daily reporting and inputting project progress into project management software.
