Community Care is hiring a site-based respite worker to support children with disabilities on Saturdays, Sundays, and one weekday, with a September start.
You will supervise a small group, assist with positive behavior, exercise good judgment, and submit daily logs within 24 hours.
Qualifications include being 18+, a high school diploma/GED, and at least 6 months of experience with children or families; background checks are required.
Community Care is hiring for our site-based respite program, which provides support and assistance to family members or guardians caring for children with disabilities who have qualified for respite services. The anticipated start of this program will be in September. There may be an opportunity to begin employment earlier, however.
The Site-Based DSRP will be part of a team that provides appropriate care to children while families are provided a planned break.
Respite services will be provided at the Community Care office on Saturdays, Sundays and one Weekday.
Must be able to pass background checks including DMV, CPS, APS, and Criminal checks.
