Staffmark in Blue Springs, MO is hiring a Sit Down Forklift Operator for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (4/10s or 5/8s). Pay rate $19.00–$21.00 per hour with Sunday– Thursday schedule and possible OT.

You will receive and inspect shipments, verify items, log inventory, and prepare outgoing shipments while operating forklifts safely (certified) and keeping areas organized. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, warehouse/shipping experience preferred, basic computer skills, ability to lift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse/shipping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Accurately log received goods into inventory systems.
• Pick, pack, and label items for outgoing shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels for carriers like UPS and FedEx.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Keep shipping/receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Communicate with supervisors about shipment issues or delays.
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
