Job summary

Staffmark Group in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to safely operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment; load, unload, move, and stage goods across the warehouse.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in warehousing; OSHA safety standards apply. The position offers $19.00 per hour, options for 4x10s or 5x8s, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.
• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required.
• Experience operating cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or other powered equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive inbound shipments and store inventory in designated locations.
• Pick, pull, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load trailers, containers, and rail cars accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance concerns.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage-free condition.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and inventory control processes.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA standards, and customer requirements at all times.
• Coordinate with transportation, customer service, and maintenance teams as needed.
