Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics USA is seeking a Forklift Operator – Sit-Down to support warehouse and loading dock operations. You will operate sit-down forklifts to move materials, perform pre-shift inspections, and assist with loading and unloading activities ensuring safe handling and correct weight distribution.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months forklift experience, the ability to obtain certification for powered equipment, and familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between dock, staging, and storage areas.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution.
• Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems.
• Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements.
• Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies.
