Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials within the warehouse and loading dock areas. The role emphasizes safe loading, unloading, and accurate inventory handling.

Candidates should have 1–3 years forklift experience, be able to obtain a certification, and pass background checks and drug screening. RF scanning and WMS experience are preferred for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between the dock, staging, and storage areas.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution.
• Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems.
• Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements.
• Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies.
