Job summary

Mach10 Solutions in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Sit Down Forklift Operator to support our logistics operations and help maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse. You will move goods with sit-down forklifts, load and unload freight, and log inventory updates while following safety procedures and collaborating with teammates to hit daily targets.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid forklift license, and the ability to perform physical labor.

Qualifications

Completion of high school or a GED equivalent.
Possession of a current forklift operator license.
Prior background in operating sit down forklift equipment is a plus.
Demonstrate a sharp eye for detail and the ability to execute specific directives.
Capable of handling physical labor and lifting heavy items.
Strong ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with others.
Proficiency in basic computer tasks to assist with inventory logging and updates.

Responsibilities

Utilize sit down forklifts to move goods and supplies throughout the facility.
Manage the loading and unloading of freight to help ensure inventory accuracy.
Perform routine equipment checks and communicate any necessary repairs.
Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all established safety procedures.
Contribute to warehouse organization to improve overall operational flow.
Work alongside colleagues to help the team reach its daily output targets.
Document inventory shifts precisely and flag any inconsistencies.
