Job summary

Allen Distribution is hiring a Sit Down Forklift Operator for the 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri). The role involves loading and unloading goods with power equipment, locating, stacking, counting inventory, and ensuring safe operation in a non-climate controlled environment. You must obtain a forklift license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Regular attendance and teamwork are essential. The position reports to the General Manager and requires following SOPs, participating in pre-shift

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Non-climate controlled environment exposure.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product using power equipment.
• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Follow SOPs and customer work instructions.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and department meetings.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms and related areas.
• Promote teamwork and assist in all areas as needed.
