Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator (Pull Pack) to join our Operations team. This full-time role operates on 1st shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime possible, to load and unload product safely using power equipment.

Responsibilities include locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product; maintaining accurate inventory and following SOPs and customer work instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Use of power equipment to load and unload product.
• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Follow SOPs and customer work instructions.
• Meet productivity standards for the account.
• Complete lift inspections prior to operation.
• Report equipment malfunctions to management.
• Follow safety and security policies and SOPs.
