Kelly Services is seeking Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a premier manufacturing client in Covington, GA. The position offers multiple shifts and a 4–8 week temporary assignment with potential extension.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts/clamp trucks (Toyota models preferred).
• 60% equipment/40% manual material handling.
• Partial picking with RF scanner, mainly pallet picks.
• Operate electric pallet jacks.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs (average ~30 lbs).
• Maintain safety standards and dress code at all times.

Kelly is seeking Sit-Down Forklift Operators to work at a premier manufacturing client in Covington, GA. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.

Pay Rate: $18.90 – $20.40 per hour

Shifts/Pay rates:

• A Shift: Sun-Thurs/11:30 PM – 8:00 AM/$20.15 per hour
  
• B Shift: Mon-Fri/7:30 AM – 4:00 PM/$18.90 per hour
  
• C Shift: Mon-Fri/3:30 PM – 12:00 AM/$19.65 per hour
  
• Weekend Day Shift: Fri-Sun/7:30 AM – 8:00 PM/$20.40 per hour
  
• Weekend Night Shift: Fri-Sun/7:30 PM – 8:00 AM/$20.40 per hour
  
• **4-8 week temp assignment with possibility of extending longer**

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating sit-down forklifts/clamp trucks (Toyota models preferred)
  
• 60% equipment/40% manual material handling
  
• Performing partial picking duties using an RF scanner, mainly for pallet picks
  
• Operating electric pallet jacks
  
• Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. (most items around 30 lbs.)
  
• Maintaining strict safety standards and adhering to company dress code at all times

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 2 yrs. previous experience operating sit-down forklifts (Toyota models preferred)
  
• Have experience operating electric pallet jacks
  
• Are comfortable frequently getting on and off forklifts and lifting up to 50 lbs. manually
  
• Have experience with RF scanners and pallet picking
  
• Can adhere to safety and dress code requirements, including wearing steel-toed shoes (safety glasses and vests provided)
  
• Are seeking a temporary assignment (4–6 weeks) with potential for future opportunities
