Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Cartersville, GA. In this fast-paced and impactful role, you will be responsible for keeping essential warehouse operations moving smoothly, handling inventory with precision, and collaborating with a dedicated team in a clean, safety-first environment.

In a Sit-Down Forklift Operator job you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and stack materials across the facility
• Staging orders and moving inventory to designated storage racks and shipping bays
• Performing daily pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure equipment safety and report any maintenance needs
• Verifying order counts, product labels, and manifest documentation for accuracy
• Maintaining clean aisles, organized staging areas, and full compliance with OSHA safety standards

What you’ll need:

• At least 1+ years of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Valid forklift certification or the ability to pass an on-site equipment driving evaluation
• Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and a strict commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed and work comfortably in an active warehouse setting
• Dependability, solid attendance, and reliable transportation to the Cartersville, GA facility
