Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Siri Attention and Invocation team. You will develop the on-device platform powering Siri’s attentive and conversational features across Apple devices, collaborating with ML, silicon, firmware, hardware and software teams.

You will drive platform design, implement efficient run-time execution of ML models, and optimize latency and accuracy to improve user experience. Join a fast-moving team delivering meaningful Siri enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, ML, EE/EECS or related field.
• Proficiency in writing production-quality object-oriented code (C++, Objective-C).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Naturally curious about how systems work.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and extend Siri Attention and Invocation platform on shipping and new Apple devices.
• Develop new Siri Invocation features, and maintain shipping features.
• Define metrics, implement logging to improve observability of Siri features.
• Partner with Siri Data and cross functional partner teams to enhance Siri user experience.
