Job summary

Vertiv in Ohio is seeking a Supply Planner to develop and maintain the supply plan within the SIOP process, balancing demand, supply, and inventory for the Power Management business. You will translate demand plans into production and material requirements in collaboration with factories, buyers, and suppliers.

The role requires 3–5 years in supply planning within manufacturing, strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and analytics tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply planning, SIOP/IBP, or production planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and SIOP principles.
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, OMP, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

  • Support new product introductions and product transitions, ensuring seamless integration into the supply plan.
  • Track and report key supply metrics, including on-time delivery, supply adherence, and inventory performance.
