Reporting to the Supply Chain leadership, this role serves as the business owner for the SIOP process and the Infor LN SIOP module implementation.Unlike a traditional demand planner focused on forecasting internally, this role will establish collaborative planning with customers, measure forecast accuracy and create a closed-loop continuous improvement process that increases visibility, inventory productivity, and service levels.The objective is to transform planning from internally generated forecasts into a collaborative, technology-enabled process supported by ERP automation and real-time demand intelligence.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Infor LN SIOP module.* Develop and maintain the monthly SIOP process across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.* Establish direct demand planning collaboration with key customers and top distributors.* Collect, validate, and integrate customer demand signals into the ERP planning system.* Create a formal closed-loop process that measures forecast accuracy by customer and distributor and provides regular feedback to improve future planning.* Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor forecast accuracy, bias, inventory impact, and service performance.* Partner with IT and ERP teams to implement enhancements, automation, and system improvements.* Standardize planning assumptions, master data governance, and planning parameters.* Identify gaps between customer forecasts and actual demand and drive corrective actions.* Facilitate monthly SIOP meetings, including but not limited to Executive SIOP meeting, by presenting demand trends, risks, and recommended actions.* Support inventory optimization by improving forecast quality and planning discipline.* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and IT to improve planning capabilities.* Lead continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and reduce manual work.**Required Skills & Competencies****Technical Skills*** Strong understanding of SIOP, demand planning, and supply chain processes.* Experience implementing or administering ERP planning modules (Infor LN preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable).* Advanced analytical and statistical forecasting capabilities.* Strong knowledge of inventory planning and replenishment principles.* Experience building dashboards and KPIs using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.* Ability to translate business requirements into system enhancements with IT teams.* Understanding of data integration and automated planning workflows.**Leadership Competencies*** Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.* Strong project management and implementation skills.* Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Customer-focused and collaborative.* Data-driven decision maker who challenges assumptions with facts.* Strong change management capabilities.**Preferred Experience*** 5+ years of experience in SIOP, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Integrated Business Planning.* Experience implementing ERP planning modules or planning systems.* Manufacturing environment experience preferred.* Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus.* Experience collaborating directly with large customers or distributors on demand planning.**Success Measures**The successful candidate will deliver measurable improvements through:* Successful implementation and adoption of the Infor LN SIOP module.* Increased forecast accuracy from key customers and distributors.* Monthly forecast accuracy scorecards shared with demand providers.* Closed-loop planning process that continuously improves forecast quality.* Reduced inventory while maintaining or improving service levels.* Improved production stability through better demand visibility.* Increased automation and reduced manual planning activities.* Establishment of a collaborative planning culture between customers, distributors, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.**Critical Success Mindset**This role is less about creating forecasts and more about building a planning system.
