Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a SIOP/Demand Planner to support corporate-wide SIOP implementation and demand planning management. The role involves translating monthly demand into weekly forecasts, reviewing trends, and presenting root-cause analyses to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include maintaining forecasts in Oracle, coordinating with Master Scheduler, and supporting regular SIOP meetings to drive on-time deliveries while minimizing disruptions to operations and the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2–5 years in Demand Planning or related roles
• Understanding of demand drivers and forecasting methods
• Proficiency in demand and supply planning methodologies and their impacts
• Experience in supply chain and forecasting effects on performance
• Experience using ERP systems
• Strong analytical, root-cause and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Translate monthly demand into weekly buckets to meet patterns
• Reconcile rolling 5-quarter forecast with capacity
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler for weekly supply alignment
• Analyze customer accounts to identify trends and risks
• Maintain demand planning accuracy metrics and SIOP RAIlS
• Manage forecast maintenance in Oracle and reconcile with actual demand
• Collaborate with BD and PLM on product transitions and obsolescence
• Facilitate SIOP meetings with stakeholders
• Forecast recommendations to support near-term deliveries
• Resolve diverse data-driven issues with minimal supervision
