A precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sinker EDM Machinist to program, set up, and run EDM equipment producing complex, tight-tolerance components. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can independently manage their machining process, interpret prints and GD&T, and consistently hold tolerances of 0.0005" or tighter.

Sinker EDM Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related EDM or precision machining experience
- Experience programming, setting up, and independently running EDM equipment
- Ability to read complex blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Ability to hold tolerances of 0.0005" or tighter
Must Haves:
- Hands‑on Sinker EDM experience
- Ability to program, set up, troubleshoot, and run your own equipment
- Experience with EDM Hole Popper and/or Wire EDM processes
- Ability to fabricate graphite electrodes through grinding or milling
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and other precision inspection tools
- Personal machinist tools and measuring equipment
Sinker EDM Machinist Preferred Background & Skills:
- Mastercam or conversational programming experience
- Experience with Makino or other high‑end EDM/machining equipment
- Experience machining steels, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, or exotic aerospace materials
- Strong troubleshooting and process‑adjustment skills
- Background in tool & die, aerospace, custom machining, or other low‑volume/high‑precision manufacturing environments
