Job summary

Mc-Machinery-Systems, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a SEDM Field Service Technician to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites.

The position is 100% travel, primarily within the US with potential international assignments; on-site at customer facilities or via phone when feasible. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, the ability to read drawings, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• CNC programming skills a plus.
• Proficient with measurement tools (Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, calipers).
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned
