Job summary

MC Machinery is seeking an EDM Applications Specialist to diagnose, optimize and train for Sinker EDM systems at customer sites across North America. You will independently resolve application issues, perform test cuts, and collaborate with sales and engineering to win business.

Travel as needed; strong CAD/CAM, CNC programming, and Windows skills are essential. A customer-focused, proactive approach will help accelerate project success and knowledge transfer to operators.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating, programming, setting up, and developing processes for EDM machinery.
• Ability to diagnose EDM issues and apply process improvements.
• Strong CAD/CAM and CNC programming experience required.

Sinker EDM Applications Specialist EngineerDepartmentSales EngineeringA day in this rolePicture your morning at a customer site: you review their Sinker EDM program, spot the inefficiencies, and map out a better process. By midday, you’re on the machine executing test cuts that prove out your recommendations. In the afternoon, you’re coaching operators on high-power processing techniques and creating a tailored training plan so their team can replicate the results on the production floor.
