Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Richardson, TX to contribute to requirements elicitation, design discussions, and code integration within OSS/BSS Single View Platform projects. You will help implement test strategies, assist in production support, and document knowledge for future reuse.

You will work with cross-functional teams across SDLC phases, applying strong Linux/Perl skills and experience with APIGEE and Oracle to build reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
