Job summary

Snelling is seeking a skilled single hand welder for a busy operation in Odessa, TX. Responsibilities include fabricating oilfield switch racks and buildings, lifting and climbing ladders, applying paint and insulation, and installing sheet metal doors and hardware.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of GMAW/FCAW experience and be familiar with torches, grinders, and sheet metal tools. Additional assets include plasma cutting, steel frame experience, and preferred forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of GMAW and FCAW welding experience.
• Familiar with torches, grinders, chop saws and sheet metal tools.
• Experience with plasma cutting.
• Steel frame structure experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience working with overhead cranes and scissor lifts.
• Mechanical and door installation experience.
