Single Hand Fab Shop Welder (Permanent Position, No Per Diem)

General Information / Job Summary / Responsibilities

• Must be able to pass an all GTAW (TIG) test and one of the following:
  • GMAW (MIG - Open Root) with FCAW (Flux Core - Fill/Cap)
  • GMAW – (MIG- Open Root) with GMAW- (MIG Pulse- Fill/Cap)
• Tests are given on a 2” Monster Coupon in the 6G position
• Currently 50‑hour work weeks

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in industrial construction pertaining to the job responsibilities listed.
• Must be successful with weld test procedures.

Safety Requirements

• Promotes awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensures compliance with all accompanying policies.
• Ability to pass drug test as mandated by Saulsbury Industries and the Department of Transportation anti‑drug program.
• Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education.
• Attend safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management.
• Attend various training classes as may be assigned by management.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Take needed safety precautions in performing the work.
• Knowledge of basic rigging safety practices.
