The Opportunity:
GRID Alternatives is doubling down on its commitment to delivering community-centered single-family clean energy projects. At 60% of 2026 projected kW installed, Single-Family is a major contributor to GRID’s impact and financial sustainability. The Single-Family General Manager will work directly with the Chief Operations and Affiliate Officer and Vice President of Operations to lead operations for GRID’s single-family services. This role directly handles the marketing, lead intake, client care, design, and service call intake teams, while also looking holistically at the broader Single-Family vertical across functions, departments, and regions. This is a strategic leadership role focused on shortening the project lifecycle, improving performance, aligning cross-functional, cross-departmental, and regional efforts, and proactively driving results to meet ambitious goals and improve community impact.
This position is on-site and may rarely require from 10% up to 25% out-of-town travel to regional offices and special projects such as company-wide celebrations, team building exercises, etc. Availability to work nights and weekends may very rarely be required. GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and/or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. In this instance, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
