Job summary

Reliable Robotics in Mountain View, CA, seeks a Simulation and Test Systems Manager to lead the end-to-end simulation framework, HITL test environments, and cloud-based pipelines. You will balance rapid, scalable testing with aviation-grade verification and work across GNC, Flight Software, Systems, and Certification teams.

You will guide architecture, deliver robust verification tools, and mentor engineers to ensure reproducible results and scalable performance in demanding aviation contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in simulation framework design, physics modeling, or HITL test development.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or people management.
• Strong experience in C++ and Python for simulation, system integration, and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Simulation and Test Systems team responsible for end-to-end simulation and test automation infrastructure.
• Mature engineering processes balancing rapid simulation-based testing with deterministic verification for aviation certification.
• Provide architectural guidance on simulation stack including performance, flight dynamics modeling, hardware emulation, and cloud-based parallel simulation.
