Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking a Technology Coordinator to ensure the readiness and uptime of simulation technology assets in the Simulation & Immersive Learning Center. You will troubleshoot, train, and support educational events while coordinating with program staff to enable high-fidelity healthcare simulation experiences.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, with 1 year in health or project management, and the ability to obtain CHSOS/CHSE

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of experience in health, project management, communications or related field.
• Ability to obtain CHSOS or CHSE within 3 years of hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in health, project management, or communications.
• Experience with human patient simulators or AV systems is a plus.
• Experience with AR/VR systems or inventory management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and updates simulation equipment and software.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Trains faculty and staff on simulation technology.
• Configures equipment for specific event requirements and supports event setup/teardown.
• Serves as site liaison for technology vendors and supports technology upgrades.
• Manages audio/visual recordings and ensures data integrity.
• Maintains inventory tracking for technology assets.
• Ensures systems are operational for scheduled events.
