Job summary

Serco seeks a Simulation Systems and Test Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Orlando, FL. You will join a focused team performing test, integration, and evaluation of military simulation systems to support DoD interoperability.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing simulations with Wireshark and CGF tools, and delivering concise test reports while collaborating with DoD customers and Langley AFB staff. Requires TS/SCI eligibility and 8+ years in engineering roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent.
• 8+ years engineering experience in test, integration, SW development, or embedded systems.
• Experience with military simulation test DIS IEEE1278.1 or HLA IEEE 1516 protocols.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR within six months.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, test, evaluation, and interoperability for CAF DMO 3.0.
• Use Wireshark and CGF tools for simulation test and evaluation.
• Analyze network performance: latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy.
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures.
• Draft comprehensive test reports from validation tasks.
• Contribute to CONOPS and multiple COAs for deployment.
• Support requirements reviews and training operations.
• Create concise test procedures and test cases under guidance.
• Support program processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, and debugging.
• Develop scripts (PowerShell, Cygwin, VBScript) to streamline artifacts.
