Job summary

Serco seeks a Simulation Systems and Test Engineer for CAF DMO 3.0 in Orlando, FL. You will join a focused team performing test, integration, and evaluation of simulation systems to support 5th/6th generation training interoperability across DoD customers and Serco teams.

You will draft test reports, develop test plans, and use industry tools (Wireshark, JREAP, CGFs) while contributing to the engineering lifecycle and training-related support. A TS/SCI/SAP/SAR path is required or possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an applicable STEM curriculum or similar.
8 years of engineering experience performing test, integration, SW development, or embedded systems activities.
Experience with military simulation integration test protocols (DIS/IEEE1278.1 or HLA IEEE 1516) or similar.
Ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
Familiarity with development, test, and evaluation of military simulation training systems.
Must obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) within six months.
Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

Perform test, integration, and evaluation of disparate M&S systems and applications.
Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft test reports.
Support interoperability testing to enable DMON/JSE training operations.
Use tools like Wireshark and CGFs for test and evaluation.
Contribute to requirements reviews, training support, and basic admin tasks.
Produce concise test procedures and test cases under guidance of seniors.
Utilize Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
Write and maintain scripts to enable test artifact creation and task execution.
