Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer- Simulation to design, develop, and test software for end-user customers in a simulated training environment.

You will work in Agile Scrum teams, contribute to multiple baselines, and collaborate with systems engineers and test professionals to deliver robust software while maintaining security and reliability. The position requires time on site in Oklahoma City, OK or Melbourne, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with related software engineering experience.
• Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements to deployment).
• Experience with C, C++, and Python programming or scripting.
• Familiarity with multiple development tools listed (Jira, Bitbucket, Subversion, etc.).
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test software for end-user customers.
• Architect and develop applications in simulated training environments.
• Work in Agile Scrum teams across multiple software baselines.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements through delivery.
