The University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Nursing has an exciting opportunity for a Simulation Instructional Technology Specialist. The specialist supports the application of learning strategies used in clinical simulation, contributes to simulation creation, piloting, and revision, incorporates objective-based simulation into programs, collaborates with faculty on projects, and participates in professional development and continuing education programs.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Graphic or Instructional Design. Master's degree preferred; related experience may be substituted for education.
Experience: Two years of related experience, including proficiency with audio/visual, multimedia, video production, or IT resources. Experience with healthcare simulation equipment and software preferred; experience as a simulation operator who can set up, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment applicable to simulation-based education is preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Certified Healthcare Simulation Operation Specialist (CHSOS) preferred.
Hiring Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with education and experience).
