The position requires a Master’s degree in a health profession or related field with 5+ years in simulation education, plus strong strategic planning and leadership capabilities

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or higher) in a health profession, education, or closely related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in simulation-based education, academic health sciences or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level strategic leadership for simulation education across UNT Health.
• Direct governance, compliance, and institutional risk management for all simulation activities.
• Lead strategic planning for simulation infrastructure and growth.
• Advise senior academic leadership through institutional assessment, reporting, and data-informed decision-making.
• Advance innovation and academic excellence in simulation-based education.
• Oversee multi-location operational and financial stewardship.
• Establish and lead workforce development and professional standards for simulation-based education.
• Cultivate internal and external partnerships and funding opportunities.
